Kepler said that philosophers and scientists should be careful not to "throw the baby with the bathwater" (his words (in Tertius interveniens) when attacking astrology. His experience taught him that there was clearly something there, although he shared with the new scientists and philosophers an intense disgust for the charlatans who misled the superstitious masses.
For this topic as well as others of a similar nature, I try to bridge gaps, find the core truths, and address objections from both sides. I am not an enemy of Reason.
