Hi. I am currently focusing most of my efforts on improving the state of the IRCv3 ecosystem, but I write other libraries and tools when I see a need. I provide technical input and code reviews to projects written in systems-level programming languages. I've also mentored a lot of novices over the years, both in academia and outside of it.

I do this for free in my spare time not only because I enjoy it, but because I think anyone should be able to benefit from what I do. Unfortunately, life isn't free.

I'm currently living in a fairly rural area with no opportunities for non-remote development work. I want to keep doing what I'm doing on a more full-time basis without worrying about my financial situation. I want to have the time and energy to work on larger and more-interesting libre software projects. I want to be able to pay for hosting for any significant webapps I make in the future.
