We noticed that many people who talk about GNU/Linux in general and post their work on Youtube get backed by Patrons. That is awesome. But what about the people who actually do all the work to make these distributions? Well in the case of MocaccinoOS these people are all volunteers who are not getting paid for their work and that's fine. However a project like MocaccinoOS does have some monthly bills to pay. For example we compile ALL our packages ourselves, we package them and send them to mirrors so people who are near can download them. While the mirrors are all donated by several organizations across the globe, our build infra isn't sponsored and actually costs some cash to host. Right now that would be something like €200 a month.
