What is Ghost Note?
Ghost Note is an interactive, web-based music lab designed for musicians, students, producers, and music theory enthusiasts. It offers a premium visual harmony studio, a chord progression builder, custom voicing engines (Drop 2, Drop 3), arpeggiators, and an interactive learning space—all running directly in your browser.
Why is it unique?
- Local-first & Privacy-focused: Your projects, custom MIDI configurations, and learning progress are saved locally on your device (using IndexedDB). No sign-up is required, no ads, and no tracking.
- Pure Web Technology: Built with modern web standards (React, TypeScript, Web Audio API, Web MIDI, Canvas 2D/3D projections) to provide a low-latency, high-performance experience without installing native wrappers.
- Accessible to Everyone: We believe high-quality music tools should be accessible to anyone with a web browser.
Why are we asking for donations?
Ghost Note is entirely free to use and ad-free. We do not monetize your data or lock essential features behind paywalls.
