Hi, I’m Brycen 👋

I’m a software engineer from Florida who’s passionate about programming and exploring new technologies. I build full-stack applications using .NET, Go, and TypeScript, and I occasionally tinker with Rust for the challenge and performance. Coding, to me, is all about curiosity, creativity, and shaping the future.

My journey began with a simple Discord bot and a desire to be frugal. I’ve come a long way since then.

Here are some of my core beliefs and lessons:

• Every project should have a README.md and solid documentation.
• README-driven development helps me plan things out properly.
• I live by “Live, Laugh, Google.”
• npm install .NET to the moon 🚀
• I sign all my commits, so you’ll always know who just broke the build.
• Breaking things is okay! I learned that, while running a Minecraft SMP server, I was usually the reason it went down. 😎
• Test-driven development is a recent milestone for me—now my tests fail before the code does.
• GitHub Actions exist to show me how many of my commits break something.
• Popular doesn’t always mean “best tool for the job.”
• Collaborating with others and learning from them is a gift I don’t take for granted.
