Hello, my name is Alex, i'm a trans girl living in the UK but originally from Russia (i'm an asylum seeker after having previously studied in England). I'm currently in a very dire financial situation and i'm unable to receive help from the government in large part due to my status as an asylum seeker, as i haven't yet been given asylum (been waiting 2 years). I'm 3 months behind on rent (3x370 and also 2x130 bills) and i'm really not getting by. I got into this situation due to a difficult breakup that triggered a severe mental breakdown which ended up causing a suicide attempt or two, and also due to a preceding lack of work and concurrent lack of work with the care company i work with. I'm currently in therapy and everything but i desperately need to start paying off the rent or else they could remove me from the contract for the upcoming academic year and i'd end up on the street. So i ask if anyone could give anything so that i at least pay off 1-2 months as i was actually supposed to pay off one month's rent and one month's bills by the end of this month (July) and so i'm quite desperate.
