I've been running and working on Pleroma since late 2018. Late 2022, I switched to Akkoma where I try to help out with support questions comming through the chat and forum, and contribute code and documentation where I see fit. Recently I've been considering doing managed hosting for Akkoma services. I believe in the empowerment that decentralisation gives us, but I also understand the incentives our current system brings that push to centralisation. By offering time and effort to manage hosting for other people, I hope to lower the bar for people to run their own instance, and thus help in keeping this thing more decentralised. All documentation is open under a CC-BY-SA license in the hope that it can be useful for others who want to start similar services. After all, it wouldn't be very decentralised if every one would be using my offering alone.
